In this episode I run things a little more in the tech house and minimal with some old hits but new to me and a classic I just get over. In hour 2 I asked Done Dizzle to be a part of the guest mix cause seeing him live was amazing! It was a no questions asked. We met at High Ground during an Open Decks night, and it was... It really was awesome.


My mind really wanted to be stagnant and did for 2 and a half days. I wanted to get out of it, the funk, the mess. But some poison just kept me hostage. it wasn’t until I came to a low of low that I could bounce back. I was asking for inspiring music from friends I knew had the goods like the track “The Energy by Riaz Dhanani & Melanie Ribbe”, friends that could hear me out on what was keeping me locked up and writing out who I am and what I wasn’t and kicking myself back in gear. That’s why I titled this episode “stagnation” because that was the biggest thing to happen this week, as so I felt. Thanks all for getting me back on my feet. We need each other, we need the creative and the cheering on and the hard moments of lifting each other up so we can avoid… Stagnation.

What's On My Mind 119: Challenged | Guest Mix by Leonardo | Runtime 2:01:49 On this episode I honestly was challenged with a lot of life factors. From family to finances, to planning our next event on Saturday. It's been... A LOT. So I didn't have to time to saturate in music I was feeling or even get a moment to hear new stuff. So for hour 1, I decided to mix my version of the Challange Crate Vol. 2 from the contest I was holding. It was absolutely rough, but I'm glad I did it. So much fun doing it and can't wait to create volume 3. For hour 2 I brought on Leonardo from Austin, TX. It was a hard week and I just knew what I was feeling. So the tracks I chose were the ones that aligned with where I was at in the current state. For my guest I brought on someone who's music brought me through so much. Eco. Eco is Jersey based and has made many smashed hits on Armada, Flashover, and Blackhole. His music always has been geared toward his mind and not what anyone else want's. So I brought him on the show. His mix I felt showed off exactly where he's at and I just can't get enough.
