Mind dump:

I had a bit of mixed emotion this week. It started with anxiety, tilted into uncertainty... But when it was the end of the week, it really was me longing. Longing for many things in the music space, relationship, radio, funding, heart. So much. I'm always longing for a certain something that makes me out of it. It did stir something... a passion to move forward, to force my mind to grow, to cause new ideas and go outside the box for what I'm involved in. It's all up from here. The tracks I chose for the episode are ones that really did it for me on getting me back in check.

I chose
Leon Bolier's track YE as the core memory because when I get in these moods, I need a nice bliss track to help inspire and more me forward.

I didn't say it in the episode, but
Estiva's Fine Day absolutely is a hard hitter track I cannot get out of my mind. I'll prolly wear it out because it's just made so well.

Where's my mind gonna go next?

What's On My Mind 119: Challenged | Guest Mix by Leonardo | Runtime 2:01:49 On this episode I honestly was challenged with a lot of life factors. From family to finances, to planning our next event on Saturday. It's been... A LOT. So I didn't have to time to saturate in music I was feeling or even get a moment to hear new stuff. So for hour 1, I decided to mix my version of the Challange Crate Vol. 2 from the contest I was holding. It was absolutely rough, but I'm glad I did it. So much fun doing it and can't wait to create volume 3. For hour 2 I brought on Leonardo from Austin, TX. I met him at Higher Ground during open deck nights and he's always supported my show, ideas and investing in the community. He does mixes at random spots around this city, breaks out a camera, records them, and posts them to YouTube. I love it! Enjoy the ride! Also, we are hosting What's On My Mind: Boiler Air at The Venue ATX this Saturday. Grab a free ticket here: https://posh.vip/e/womm-120?t=nlt

What's On My Mind 118: Ecstasy | Runtime 1:58:56 For this episode I really was in the beginning of longing, yearning, crying out for some kind of ecstasy. It was a hard week and I just knew what I was feeling. So the tracks I chose were the ones that aligned with where I was at in the current state. For my guest I brought on someone who's music brought me through so much. Eco. Eco is Jersey based and has made many smashed hits on Armada, Flashover, and Blackhole. His music always has been geared toward his mind and not what anyone else want's. So I brought him on the show. His mix I felt showed off exactly where he's at and I just can't get enough. Enjoy the ride!

What’s On My Mind 117: Fork | Guest Mix by CARTFISH Runtime: 2:04:59 In this episode I'm at a fork in the road with many decisions on my mind for what's next. Some of the track names are exactly the focus. In hour 2, I brought on CARTFISH as he's fresh in the electronic dance scene industry and I wanted to be sure to catch him while I could! He is one of South Florida’s hottest social media icons from The Journey Guys or with his husband Alex. I still remember the first TikTok I saw of Carter was when he gets mad at Alex spilling protein powder on the freshly cleaned counter. Laughed so much. You can watch it here for your enjoyment: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTL3hMDcv/

What’s On My Mind 111: Stagnation | Guest Mix by Done Dizzle Runtime: 2:07:33 In this episode I run things a little more in the tech house and minimal with some old hits but new to me and a classic I just get over. In hour 2 I asked Done Dizzle to be a part of the guest mix cause seeing him live was amazing! It was a no questions asked. We met at High Ground during an Open Decks night, and it was... It really was awesome.
